So far 7 928's This is going to be fun!
Its "Test n Tune Day" so the park may not let us line up against each other, But if we have a school of sharks and stick to same two lanes then yea.

Remember to bring 2" number set, the last 4 digits of your SS. Otherwise the tech inspect will write the numbers with shoe polish on your qtr window. Takes months to get white shoe polish off a black car.

As for me wish I could come all the way out to race my 87 Grand National. But the car is in California and I'm still in Lithuania with no end in sight.

Off topic, any leads on 2010 Turbos with PCCBs?

Yup, '87 Regal T. Dirty, starting to rust, but fun.

And, I am half Lithuian... Go figure!

Forecast says sunny and 62f. Don't forget to let the wax dry on your rear lower fenders. Pam takes forever to remove.

So far no rain for Sunday. Track opens at 10 AM. Look for my black 928. I'll try and get a spot up front close to the track's fence.

Let's get a final list. Who's going?

Those who are far away watch the tracks web site for unexpected closing.
You can receive up to date track openings and closings on your cell phone. Go to www.rainedout.com to sign up for this free service (no spamming!)

Tony,

I have to see what's going on down here. I won't be done with my soccer game until 11:30 or so, then I have to get my crap together and head up.

How much did you say it was? I'd have to rent a helmet too, do you know what that runs?

I don't want to race up there only to get one run in. If I miss a shift I'd be pissed!

the place was swamped crowded like i never saw, met tony didn't see any other 928's
i was stuck in the staging lanes and we had to wait until they ran all the 9 & 10 sec cars and as usual they tend to break something and mess up the track. and there were quite a few dumping oil or coolant on the track. i managed to get one run. and sorry no pics my friend who's a photographer had trouble with his camera couldnt get any pics.

I'm not saying. Just couldn't get traction 1st or 2nd. I think I felt wheel spin shifting into 3rd also. This winter project is to get much bigger wheels/tires in the back.

my one run netted a 13.9 at 103 with a sloppy start off the line i should be able to get 13.7 with a perfect launch. also want to add that the x-pipe definitely makes a difference i just installed it a couple days before this event and it does feel stronger my previous best with the new rims [much heavier] was 13.9 but barely 100 mph. and now 103 with a sloppy start.
