Default I know this isn't a 928 but it is an S4!

I'm having an annoying issue with my Audi S4 and because you guys have all been so helpful in the past I figured I would run the issue by you! Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

My 2006 Audi S4 has a metalic squeak (kind of like a chirping sound) when driving over harsh bumps. It appears to be coming from the front. Both lower control arms have been replaced along with the passengers side strut tower mounting bracket. Every bushing, latch and hinge has been sprayed down with silicone spray but the car still squeaks! My mechanic said the brakes look good. What could it be?!

Note: There have been no modifications made to the car.

Note: I can't be certain but it seems as if the noise is coming from the front of the car.

Optional Information:
Year: 2006
Make: Audi
Model: S4
Engine: 4.2L V8

Already Tried:
Replaced both front lower control arms, passenger side strut tower mounting bracket, lubed all latches, hinges and bushings...

Audi? Perhaps you should post in the 924/944 forum as well.

What are you spraying on the bushings and such? Sometimes it take a lot of time for lubricants to penetrate far enough to make a difference.

Ball joints, (particularly lowers) even if greased can squeak loudly if they're done for. (Ask me how I know).
Best diagnostic is the stethescope or the fancy battery powered headset unit, and have someone bounce the car on the hoist while the other carefully checks the components for audible issues. (I'm talking a ramp hoist here, not a frame unit).
Good luck with it.

Lower Ball joints squeak often on many cars.

Check for technical service bulitins or tsb's, alot of those have cabin squeking noises that need to have rubber shimms put in.

I'd look at the lower ball joints. I had to do them on my A6 4.2. Was more of a clunk than a squeak though. That, and make sure the front subframe bolts are tight.

Not too familiar with the Audi.....Sway bar bushing/joint will creak/squeak too if fitted. +1 on using a lot of lube to penetrate the joint.

Much less involved and in addition to the above, I would also check your lug nuts for torque. Loose LN can cause squeaking as well.

2006? Sounds like it'll be a warranty issue, bring it to the dealer.
