So i just bought a Palm Pre (928 tuning content)
...and im looking at the Innovate motorsports website for a new Wideband sensor and see this new product! of course for the IPHONE:banghead:
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/ot2.php http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/p...T-2.3_blk2.jpg how cool is that! Wow, they have really done a lot of development in the last few years! |
Now, do you think my wife will let me borrow her IPHONE?
|
Tony. Go check out Rev for the iPhone. Wouldn't be much good on the shark, but very cool for any '96+ model. A necessity, I would say.
|
COOL!
|
I just got an iPhone and jailbroke it to work on T-Mo. I love the thing, compared to my brand new WinMo6.1 it looks like a laser light show compared to an IBM Golfball. Thanks Tony, this is super cool ... let me go look :)
|
Tony ... I'd go buy a cheap used iPod Touch and use it exclusively for this purpose.

:corn:

10" netbooks are <$300. They are surprisingly fast, have lots of HD space, WiFi.
I bought an ASUS with a Celeron 900mhz, 10"/1024x600, with a Iomega USB/serial converter for chip tuning. It runs Logworks, and TunerPro RT just fine (SharkTuner too). It's smaller, lighter, and faster than the old POS laptop I was using. http://members.rennlist.org/porken/NetbookLogging.jpg |
That looks sweet!!
Now it just needs an audible for each gauge:p

The innovate product is OBDII only, 1995+. Plenty of similar freeware, shareware, and commercial products exist for the PC, and PDA's of all stripes.

I looked into this, and then decided to go with a microPC. I got a cheap one off Craigslist for $200 (http://www.tabletkiosk.com/tkstore/p...&idproduct=145) and bought a flexible mount that goes under one of the passenger seat attachment bolts. It has 1GB RAM, 1Ghz CPU, 60GB SSD, built-in WLAN, bluetooth, two USB ports, a touch screen, and runs Windows XP Tablet edition just fine. I also have a USB GPS dongle that I can attach for navigation.

I'll take a pic just as soon as I finish fixing the awful splice job on the passenger side fan connector that was causing that fan to not run intermittently :grr:

If one already HAS an iphone, this would be a very good option.
