Gosh, that's a shame about the PMs. Fires happen, unless you had it well insured(wink, wink), which I doubt was the case. I think you know there's a breaker that specializes in 928s right down the highway from you.

The car was already destroyed by the fire. WTF?

By the way. WTF happened to the front springs? Did they collapse from the heat?

Ah yes....It's all coming back to me now. Wow.
That is to bad about that car. But it's not going to be a driver again. I would think the local supplier in your area could help you out. Not enough left fo me to drive far for it though lots of bits I would want. If you decide to grab a wrench and start taking pieces off.

What a shame. That was a really nice car. Dang, fires can really do a number on 928s. I carry a 5 lb Halong with me everywhere now. Sorry, Styx, for your loss. I know you liked that car.

Yea it was a bad fire. I would say not worth more than 1k or what ever hard parts are left on the car that fire wouldn't effect. If it was a soft part it's play dough now.

I think your initial $200 ask was more realistic - doesn't look like there is anything salvagable there. The heat would likely have warped the aluminum engine and the suspension parts.

By the way, anyone who sends you a pm to berate you for your misfortune is an *******, and you should not worry about what they think.
