1984 928 non-working windows,lock,seats etc

Howdy..new to this group..Have a question?? My 1984 928s has non-working power windows, seats, sunroof and locks. Is there a module, relay or box that controls all of these fuctions?? Thanks

Nope. Power windows and locks share a fuse, but that's about it. Different wiring harnesses, different relays, different fuses. When you have multiple electrical failures, the first thing to do is clean the grounding points, especially under the steering console and the ones near the fuse panel.

Check the fuse, but I would use caution replacing it if blown. Its a 25 amp and you might still have some kind of wiring short.

Have you downloaded the fuse and relay chart yet?

Is this a car you just got? did they just stop working? ever have an electrical fire anywhere that you know of? Check all of the fuses, relays, and switches first... after that, I've seen many wiring harnesses through out the car that have been poorly spliced back together, disconnected, cut, etc. Make sure you disconnect the battery before you start playing with any harnesses though, or you'll have a few more blown fuses on your hands. Wish I had more to offer... I'm interested to know what it turns out to be, keep us posted.
