Burning Brakes
Looks like someone spent alot of time with a power washer. Seems to be missing the plastic tray behind the air filter. Also the volt meter seems to be reading 13 at idle.
Still, wish mine looked this good for that price when I bought it.

Just noticed the winning bidder has zero feedback, bet the seller bit a hole through his lip when he saw that.
Those dash and pod caps are well installed, I can't hardly tell they are there.

It is a great add and for the right car it could bring a great deal more money.
This car looks to be resprayed without removing the trim. If you look closely at the photo which shows the VIN you can see a perfect line of red on the rubber. A similar line shows up in the door sill in the photo which shows the door stickers. I can also see some black spray paint on the muffler, tips and gas tank. It also looks like the rear suspension and the front wheel wells have some black spray paint to darken things up.
Curious to see if it gets relisted.

It's missing the hood liner and the stickers with the vacuum and emissions diagrams.
Missing the cover that goes over the wipers.
Something is strange on that speedometer. I've got a set of gauges that came from my '85 sitting on my desk and the speedometer is different. The speedometer on that car looks like the older type that many owners had retrofitted onto the earlier cars. Or maybe that's what comes on the 5 speeds. Perhaps someone could clarify that.
It's missing a rear wheel liner.
The front bumper shocks are collapsed.
Mako, the volt meter is reading normally.
The trailing edge of the hatch has been attacked by an overzealous buffer.
Afshin, the paint line you're seeing in the door jamb is not necessarily an indicator of a respray. It think that line is from the door gasket rubbing.
Overall, it's not a bad car. They've certainly made a better effort then most folks to maintain it. I wouldn't pay $11K for it. Kudos to the seller for getting it up that high.

I still think its a respray.
I'm glad they were able to get that kind of price for the car but I feel bad for the new owner.
Some 928's are truly worth the premium, some aren't. Due dilligence is required to differentiate the two.

sidehatch,
They are body color on the bottom side and in the wheel wells.
Yeah, if it's a respray the seller shoulda fessed up. He should know since he flips speciality cars.
