How about the members that received their watches do a favor to those of us that are still waiting? A picture of your watch posed next to the shark? Aww, come on....

I gets no email, and gets no watch. Maybe I'm in batch #3.
I paid on Feb 1 when I got the email about payment, so I gotta be getting close.
Chris, a reminder, I paid extra for the additional metal bracelet and my reserved number is 96.

Current batch is scheduled to land in my hands Monday.
So the next batch should be a week or two behind the current one.

Re: the watch pictured above........
I bought the SAAB equivalent a few years back just to have to sport around on occasion. I was fooled by the sharp looks in pics on eBay, but after a day of wearing it, the black ink on either side (Porsche/Saab crest) melted away to my sweat. A week later and the time wasn't even accurate anymore.
That thing is a peace of junk. I threw mine in the garbage after 3 weeks.

The watches arrived today as expected.
I have them going out today.
The USA deliveries went out UPS 2 day air.
Out of the USA went USPS Expedited. I will forward the tracking numbers to those members. But I can't get an exact delivery date. But they shipped today

Got my email & tracking number today - Woo Hoo! Thanks Chris! Mine is in Van Nuys CA as I type this. It'll be interesting to see how quickly it gets to Australia.
As for the watch competition - the IWC versions of the Porsche Design are the only way to go. In particular the Ocean 2000 and the original titanium chrono, just a bit more expensive than Laco though.
