Modified 928 Prototype
got about 10 "compliments/inquiries" from my car guy customers yesterday.
They struck up the conversation with "I've never seen that one before...etc"

Matches the "red hands"

I think that is the way to go for the prototype for sure... Still want to see the reds for the production model though, then the custom band will look GREAT with it!

That band does look much better with the orange hands. If the hands have to stay orange, I would much prefer that band.

But my vote is still to get the hands a closer match. If you are worried about seeing it at night, I have heard that Timex had some good ones...(just joking). This isn't a watch that I will be wearing a lot, that's what Seiko's are for. I have an 18ct Datejust that doesn't come out very often either and I don't even know if it's hands glow.

My first impression is that red hands would look better or make the orange more orange. It does appear a little washed out but I don't the advantage of seeing it in the flesh and these things can grow on you. The symbol at the twelve is UPSIDE DOWN. That is a must fix as I’m sure Chris is aware. I'm in for one regardless and looking forward to getting it in the New Year. Again thanks to Chris and all involved for making it all happen.

Sorry but my vote is for the red stitching! My car has no Orange stiching. Are we trying to now match an orange band to the orange hands? it seems like we need to have a real vote on this.

My vote would be to have it as the artwork was originally done, NO GLOW unless the colors were bang on. First thing to glow, would be the silhouet, then the '9'2'8'.

This is going to be a show piece(and I will proudly show it off if done right) and the "watch as a whole" the way every detail enhances the other details is what makes the watch perfect, not that it glows in the dark. I do believe that if nothing glowed, and the finished product was as colorfully perfect as the original design, we all would be showing this watch off as much, if not more, as our cars.

My wife says that the 'orange' makes it look cheap, like any other "wallmart" watch. Gotta be Red to resemble the cars dash.....

I put the strap on just to match this watch since I am wearing it, I didn't mention anything about producing these with orange stitching, especially after we decided on Red hands.

I matched a strap to the orange on the watch and I am happily wearing it and can't stop talking to people about it as they ask me when they walk into my shop...

Don't worry, I know what everyone wants Trying to get the watch where we want it to be. It's just taking a little time

Thanks for the support Martin!
Oh, and Laco is aware of the error with the "i", and we are 100% on the same page with them now.
I am just waiting for Red lumi samples.
They know what they have to do, and I know what I have to do... Then it's game time

I'm hoping to get one, #77 specifically, I would probably look into a metal strap to "save" the leather and to avoid losing the watch. I have a bad history with leather straps.

Hacker it looks like 77 is available but you better email Chris to get on the list for it if you ACTUALLY want it! We have been reserving S/N's for quite some time now...

Default nice day

thank you for sharing them
That's a very interesting topic. But this field is still new to me.
It will be grateful if you give me some
more information about it.
Thanks in advance.
