Glad to hear they are looking for a redder superlumi. I would be okay with a pinkish glow if the daylight color is more red. To me it is more important how it looks in daylight than when glowing. I'm betting I will be showing it off a LOT more in daylight than in the dark.

Also hope they can use the separations to make the red box the same as the redlines and hands. Again, I would be happy to provide more artwork.

And don't forget the band stitching.
I'm with you Richard, I know what we all want Just tryin to get it right.

Band stitching? I have the custom straps.
The Laco strap is the pilot strap, stock, no colored stitching.
The red stitched band band is the one I had custom made for this watch, and I have them in stock.

Chris,

Like RKD I don't care what the glow is like as long as it looks REALLY RED in daylight. The hands must glow though or the watch becomes a daylight hour affair only and man, that would just suck! I know you and I are on the same page with that one!

Again as long as it is red in daylight I don't care what color it glows!

Thanks for all the hard work and putting up with many sleepless nights on this thing!

Richard, thanks for all your hard work on the artwork side of this deal! You have put in MANY hours making this just what we want it to look like!

For what it's worth... I prefer the red over orange hands and not overly conerned about lumi colors.

I really do appreciate all your efforts and please keep us posted (which I'm confident you will).

Thanks for keeping the dream alvie!

$595... $729 after the first round of orders are paid for... The "normal" price for the non-custom version of this watch (yes Virginia Laco does make this same auto Swiss movement with a couple of different faces) is $749 I think...

Here's an idea (Thinking out loud)

What if we use non glowing material for everything BUT the silhouette???
The markers, numbers, hands, exclamation, red background, all painted.
And use superlumi on just the silhouette.

Bad idea?
Again, I'm just thinkin out loud.

Here is a pic of a flieger with the markers painted (no superlumi)

Bad idea for me...I use my watches in the dark fairly regularly and that is one of the things I LOVE about my LACO's... the super-lumi is SO BRIGHT I can really see it well at night... That is just me though and if the majority want it painted then so be it... you might want to set up a new poll for that.

Let's see if they can do a redder superlumi. Bet they can, just let them know we are willing to wait for it.

I'm with James, I use my watches at night all the time and would much prefer everything glowed. But however it turns out I cannot wait to get it!
