If the dates work out, count me in to lend a hand, and moral support.

I think that is the block that is in my car right now. For sure the cams are.
Great job Tim, you found Erik's car.

Once you decide on a date, I may be able to help out. Might give Amy and Debbie a chance to hit up the local shopping venues... again.

Wow. That could be a very costly day.

One of you asked how I came to own Leeroy & here is the short version:
I grew up on 911's. Leaned to drive for the 1st time after a Kings game at the old forum. Quickly developed a love. My mid-20's were tough, my mother has Lupus, we lost our 24 yr old cousin, & three grandparents... I realized how much i wanted to live everyday like there may not be a tomorrow, b/c we all know tomorrow is never a guarantee. I wanted to for the 1st time do something for myself.
I researched all Porsches for almost a year...Searched & search, & finally found Leeroy in San Fran. I flew there & drove him back.
Everyday I drove Leeroy, even when he wasnt feeling his best & gave me trouble, everyday was a pleasure. He made me smile, he made me friends, on the streets & in this forum, he really was a joy!
And if he isnt fixable I can honestly say he had a great life, & I thank him for being apart of mine.
Its lifes simple pleasures that make me happy.
You all have touched my heart.
There arent many truely good people in this life, but you are a special group of people who should teach us all that genuinely good people still do exist! Thank you
Thank You for sharing your story! I am glad you found this group, and I'm even happier to see that you might be in a 928 again soon.

Sometimes sharks give their lives to protect their owners. Sometimes they self destruct. And sometimes they rise from the dead. After all you two have been through, I hope Leeroy will do the latter.

Best of luck!

Way to rally the troops, Mark. I'm great at taking stuff apart, lol! I will be there to lend a hand as needed.

Mark,
I can help April 21 for about 5 hours if you have the car then and need assistance. I am flying in to Ontario, CA and have about 5-6 hours of free time prior to picking up a colleague from the airport.
Just let me know if I can be of assistance.

Mark/Lisa---

I have a pair of Euro front fenders and a front bumper cover (non-S, but holes drilled for S spoiler--no brake cooling duct cutouts) off of my Euro.

The fenders have been stripped of paint and a light coat of primer applied. They will need several coats of filler primer to bring the surfaces smooth, before paint application. Paint (12 coats of it) was removed with a 36 paper, so they will require a bit of WORK to be use-able.....nothing you guys can't handle.

The bumper cover paint has not been stripped.

If there is a need, they are yours, shipping to Anaheim on me. (I may be able to deliver them personally.)

Let me know your progress via PM.
