I think its toast. Bummer
Notice how the hood was cut, to open it due to the hood cable being melted.
I think it would be better to swap over the interior, if its good to another car.
But Mark will really have the best ideas on how to proceed

RISE OF THE PHOENIX...
MARK!!!!
I've got a partial wiring harness with all the connectors from an 85-86 engine...It was cut right at the cable clamp at the rear passenger side valve cover. Maybe it can be spliced into her ECU wiring? Don't know if it will be compatible or not, but it's yours if you can use it. I'm close, and can help to an extent. I never have a lot of time due to family and work, but maybe schedules will work out... Keep me posted on dates if it works out we can indeed resurrect the "Phoenix"...

Jeez, that doesn't look good. Maybe I can burn some air miles to fly in and help out? Well, judging by my threads, maybe not, takes me a year or so to finish any job started.
Post a list for donations. Parts or whatever.
The first (few) rounds on me for the NY leg of the cross country trip after completion!

Didn't read the whole thread so I am not sure if a date has been set. I am in whenever you decide to do the work, PM me and I will be there. I can also work any day during the week being that I am unemployed.

Interesting the damage is on the brake line side not the fuel line side? Just sayin... Fuel could have sprayed across but would have still it up the passenger side. I still vote for the blue line of death.
As soon as a list of parts is up, I will gladly thow a couple items in teh mix if I have them.

I'm in to help. I'll bring another set of tools. Better yet, how about doing it at my place? Way more room and tools!

That's not too bad. If the fire stayed out of the interior it's FW forward work, and should be fairly straghtforward.
Bumper, L headlight asm, fog asm, l fender, hood, inner liner, shock/spring, caliper, plastic bits in engine bay, wiring harness in engine. Surely some other small bits along the way.
Lucky in one way, that much of the wiring runs along the right side inner fender, and up to the right front. That looks untouched from here.
I predict it will drive again.
