Please post a review when you get it. I've been eyeing that one.
Just got done (night before last) reading Project 928 for the first time cover to cover. Left me wanting more....
If you have never looked at it, the Zuffenhausen tour at 928 Motorsports web page is an excellent suplement to the Project 928 book... I remembered seeing it in the past, and had to go look at the photos again after reading Project 928..

Mike, I'll let you know what I think when I get mine. Project 928 is awesome, wish I had an original copy, and the Zuffenhausen tour is too. And Carl Fausett's Peak 928 is a must-have for the shelf as well, IMHO.

Yeah. I had been looking for a reasonably priced copy of Project 928 for years. I stumbled across this link while searching for timing belt related information.

It's the full book in PDF format. I am still on the hunt for a hardcopy original.... Anyone have an extra lying around?

I could kick myself for just missing end of auction for 1st edition of Project 928 on eBay UK yesterday. There were 12 bids but it sold for only £37 (about $55).
The cover was just black text on white background, rather than the 'blueprint' type covers I've always seen. Presumably 1st edition differs in this respect.
I have the pdf but really wanted the book as my equivalent of the Bible!

Wow...that was a deal... The cheapest I have seen one go for is $140 on ebay... The one leather guy makes a cool leather cover for it....So you can bring it to "church"

Just received a copy "Porsche 928." Have to say I'm impressed by the detail included and also by the numerous photos (factory shots, advertisements, auto shows).
The chronological approach for model introductions and features is a good one for anyone who wants to learn more about 928's, OB to GTS. It is interesting to see some of the track photos of 928's in Europe as well.
This book is a good companion for those who have the Project 928 book, and a good stand-alone volume for any 928 owner. For me, at least, it renews the 928 "fire." MHO only.

Sorry that £37.00 was me lol
The hard cover was a little water stained and not as good as the Ebay picture...
Inside is fine though....
I would have bid up to £100 , but no more, and was just lucky to get it for £37 using an Ebay Sniper program....
All the best Brett
