Jim Bailey no longer with 928 International

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the friendship and chance to share in the 928 hobby. It was a good 16 years . Feb 05 was my last day on the job. So being near Hollywood naturally I went down to Central Casting and registered for work ....if nothing else December might be a busy month :) Fear not I will be checking in from time to time with a hearty "Relay , Relay , Relay" and the old very brown 1980 will still be running track events.

Ok, it's not April 1. Jim, Thanks for all the help over the last 5 years, good luck with whatever you do next!

Jim sorry to see you go and I wish you well with your new job.

Obviously we expect you to check in frequently with updates on the brown track shark.

I am not sure what to say. Consider membership?:D You are one of the main reasons that I liked shopping Intl. I knew that I was going to get only what I needed and great advise about how to use it. Glad you are still gonna be here.

SharkSkin 02-24-2009 02:01 PM

Wow, Jim -- Sorry to hear this. IMHO you have been a great asset to 928 International and to the community. Don't be a stranger!

Jim,

Having experienced a downsizing myself (back in Dec) I feel your pain brother! I too was doing that which I loved... Life goes on and so will I and SO WILL YOU Jim! Our wonderful dogs and cars with us till the bitter end and you know, neither one of them care where we work or what we do! Gotta love unconditional love like that!

I will miss not talking dogs with you when I call up to 928Intl...

Very best to you in your future endeavors and best always my friend!

hacker-pschorr 02-24-2009 02:15 PM

Thank you for everything Jim. I'm glad I was able to get out there and meet you back in '05.

Maybe now you can find the time to visit us in Elkhart Lake :)

Good luck on your next adventure - I'm sure it will be interesting :D

Tass 928 02-24-2009 02:22 PM

Wow Jim, this place would not be the great resource it is without both your 928 and general automotive knowledge. Make sure to visit often !

Best of luck in whatever you do next

Gone from 928Intl but not gone from the Rennlist

Jim, thanks for all of your help with each one of the 4 I've owned over the years. Always good suggestions and never without an opinion (not unlike the rest of the list) which we all like to hear.

Good luck on the new job and keep on posting.

Let the old brown track on
