Where do you run stereo illumination wire from?
Putting a new head unit in my 84. They had illumination on old JVC hooked up with the antenna.
Where would be the easiest to pull a wire from to hook the illumination wire from new alpine unit so it dims with the lights?
Below I have the wire diagram for my 84.

Drifting
The newer Alpines only dim slightly when hooked up for illumination. I spliced into the light for the cigarette lighter on my '85 since I couldn't find another wire in the butchered mess I had.
