Default Fun video clip with flying 928

The driver is complaining to the driver that TV has gotten so boring with another hospital sequel being launched, and that they'd need more action.

The passenger then says that flying car action don't exist in real life. Then the car shoots over the bridge, and the driver asks: That does not exist?

One more reason 928's need cup holders, if that guy had a beer between his legs he would have had to guzzle it down before that hard landing.

I think I saw the alternator warning flicker just slightly, after the landing.

Debunks that old saw about pigs not being able to fly; let's see a 911 do that.

Great find, Nicole. Thanks for sharing.

Movie magic ....the "landing" was shot long before the JUMP ! Trust me on this the flying 928 was TOTALED when it hit nose down from that elevation ! I was at a Dukefest a few years ago where they jumped a General Lee it basically tore the front suspension off as it landed and buckled up the whole chassis and it did not fly that nearly that high ! Talking with the original stuntmen they told me of the 100 plus General Lee's as well as all the "police cars" that were destroyed in the filming of that show . Stop the clip just after the ramp launch and you see a big cloud behind the car....probably destroyed the oil pan and that is an oil cloud ! The ramp at the Dukefest showed a lot of damage from the car bottoming out as it hit the ramp! The numerous camera angles is one hint that it was all a carefully staged and edited production.... My son in law has owned many movie cars I have been to different movie car lots while he was buying cars and seen all kinds of interesting things including lots of wrecked cars and specialized cars like reverse cars where the body is placed backwards ! They ALWAYS have at least two identical cars if it is a hero car more if stunts are needed and many do not survive. Anyone want the pink S 2000 with plush interior from the Fast Furious movie driven by the small oriental girl ?

We have a photo in our office of one that a long time customer was flying. His is "only" about a foot of the pavement but all 4 wheels are flying. He did the jump several times until they got the photo the way he wanted. The stunts we see on film TV Movies have had a big impact on peoples expectations and beliefs.
