Yeah, I think thats the one. It is located at the back of the engine near the firewall at the passenger side. It is tapped into a coolant passage near the heater hose.

Does any one have the pin outs or test readings of this AFM since it's out its a good time to test it.
Progressing on my repairs how does it look so far?

Thought I would warn you if you own a power break bleeder.
Got everything ready; used new Dot-3 to flush to be followed by the good blue stuff. Placed the container on the floor pumped up to 11 Lbs did the front driver first due to using that side to drain the fluid. Good thing, 4-min into it the hose near the filler neck springs a leak shoots across the garage hitting the 82 fender and on my hood of my 68 Vette. I broke a speed record to relieve the pressure and stop the carnage. It's a good thing I planed for this type of screw up by lining my freshly painted motor with painters paper and a few large towels. The fender cover took the brunt of it and a car cover took one for the Vett. So the moral of the story is be prepared for things to go south at any time and change your hose after 2-years of operation.
P.S. Brakes and clutch seem good !

Progress update:
Power Booster done.
Master and slave bleed.
Steering rack is back in, new boots and bushings.
All gaskets and seals done on motor lot of cleaning and painting.
Started up it run very smooth.
Need to change the rear shocks and make a decision on the spring spacers.
Still have a lot more cleaning to do!

Trying to figure out where this metal sub piece goes. Seems like the bottom fascia, the rear portion needs a support and this maybe it. I cannot find out where or how it is attached.
The tire is not going to fit under the wheel wells so the spring shims have to stay.

that piece of metal is an under the radiator support crush/support bar

It kind of goes at the base of the front cross areas, with the bottom of the S4 bumper valance. HTH.

Dropped the struts last night and found that drivers one side does not have the spacers , springs show 2-Yellow dots, 4910-4910 N, not sure what this translates to in spring rates.
I have new Borg's to install but and just cleaned everything up and looks like there are Bilsteins installed, will using the Borges' cause any issues?
What about the spacers if you look at the picture you will see the bent bar on the drivers side, I am wondering if this was the reason for the spacers. I would like to install the shocks without the spacers but don't know what to expect considering the tires to not fit under the fender well.

I would buy 2 new drop links for the rear and sell your rims and pick up some with the correct offset so the fit your rear wheel wells. Other wise your car's *** end will sit high and corner like crap.

I think there were spring shims on both sides when I got the car - I thought I had taken them off both sides as I had not planned on using them.
I was pretty sure the tires would fit with that excess metal removed hanging down behind the fender lip - from looking at the old tires it looked like that's what's cutting up the very edge of the tire, the fiberglass fenders would probably just crack if the tire hit it.
Remember as the wheel moves up it follows an arc and moves inward. The best way to check is to remove the springs so you can manually move the wheel tire through it's arc and see if it hits. If it's close dropping 1 tire size or sanding down the inside of the lip would probably do it.
I agree with the others that if they don't fit after that then I'd replace them instead of using the spring shims. But I think the offset on them is one that others have used successfully so hopefully they're work.
Also, as I'm sure you noticed, the rear lug studs are extra long because the suspension is off an S4 which had wheel spacers. Obviously you don't want the wheel spacers behind the wheels since that would make the fender clearance worse, so you have to use open lug nuts or cut off the lugs.

I can tell that this pic was taken while the car was on the lift. Do you have one from the same angle but with the car on the ground and suspension settled?
What is the offset of the wheels? Measure it and post it along with the tire sizes and wheel widths. I'll run it through AO's wheel fitment calculator.
