Track Day Pics
Thought I'd share some pics of a recent track day. The event organizers hired a pro video and picture guy and the pics turned out great. He also compiled a video for all the participants which was very well done.
I had to compress the originals but these ones are pretty good. I'm in my 89S4 Euro AT. Enjoy!

Cool shots, nice colour. Thought it was mine for a moment with the negatives reversed.

Marc,
The S4 is great on the track. It handles beautifully and being an automatic is not an issue as I found I was constantly shifting between 2nd and 3rd. and 4th on th straights.
I have the bilstein/eibach setup with 18" wheels and i've lowered it to 150mm Front 165mm rear and it handles very well.
I also have a X-pipe and RMB and it sounds awesome. The 911 guys voted my car the best sounding on the track!
My instructor drove the car a couple of times and was very impressed. I was able to keep up with the new C4S but not the GT2. Boxsters and older 911's couldn't keep up to me.
Wait until next year when I the SC'er on, those guys won't stand a chance!
Get out there and have some fun!

Here are my babies at the track. All autos (including the avatar race car!) and they are all a BLAST! I have had the '92 on track as well. Only my '84 has not yet been on track!
I tacked the '88 first and did that for over a year before taking the GTS to the track. Then the '81 only once and only for some slowish laps... Then the '92 went with me to Hallett and to TWS a few times and now of course the race car is the primary track car.
