Very nice look Dean. The wheels and color combo really do go well together.

Still amazes me how much a set of wheels updates these cars.

Not sure i agree with you on Porsche making these wheels in 18" though...... EDIT: yes as you posted they only make a 19"

Update!!!

Tire Rack recommended 265 on a 10" rim. After mounting it is way too narrow. I called them...sent them these photos and now I have a pair of 275/35r18's coming to replace these.

Just thought I would show what a 265 looks like on a 10' rim. The 275 should be just right.

Yea, that is ASININE that they even told you 265 on a 10" rim! You could even do a 285 on that rim I bet! I think 275 will be just right though. If you did a 285 it might not fit under your fenders.

I hear you James...just the 275 is the widest Bridgestone makes in this tire in a 18".

Hopefully 275/35 brings your rims flush with your tires at the minimum.

I compared the 275 to a 265 and its 7/16" wider so I think it will be just right.

11mm wider? Interesting.
Are you going down 10% in aspect ratio?
These wheels remind me of those on Fuse69's car.

Well the "275" in this case is the tire width in mm vs the 265mm previous width so it should be ~10mm different. The actual width you get is a little dependant on the rim width since that piches the tire in more or less - in this case it shouldn't make that much difference to the delta measurement.

Just mounted the 275's on the rear. Just about right. Clears all around with no trouble.

Do you have weights on those? I have 265/35/18 on my 10" rears and it doesn't look like that. The bead edge of that wheel looks abnormally thick, for strength I'm sure. Normally the rim specified for a 265 tire is 9" to 10.5" I think.

Looks are everything to most of us. Too bad they don't make a 9.5x18 et65 and it could be run at all 4 corners for cheap $$$. The 10x18 et65 is a squeeze for the front, and rolled fenders are probably necessary.
