ATE Super Blue DOT4 Brake Fluid - Where to Buy in San Francisco
Does anyone in the Bay Area know where I can buy ATE Super Blue brake fluid at? I need to add some any I'm almost at the minimum line. Thanks!

I am sure they consider brake fluid to be environmentally unsound and would prefer you park that horrible, spewing machine and take the even more environmentally unsound ferry everywhere you go...

Hey that's not a bad idea. I looked at Tire Rack this morning who also carries and I have decided to order 4 cans at $12 each. Shipping is only 11 bucks. That should keep me well supplied for my next brake fluid change!

IMHO..if youre at the min line, might be time to check the pads.
The fluid didnt leak (i hope)..its "down" because the pads wear and pistons in the calipers extend farther.
If you fill it, then push the pistons back in, you'll have to remove fluid or watch it spill out of the master cylinder.
And ya..you'll be fine for days, weeks..it goes down very slow..as the pads slowly wear down as well.

Still trying to track down Super Blue racing fluid in Gold… have plenty of ‘blue’ on hand. According to these guys, the ATE gold is really TYP 200:

Can anyone confirm this?
http://www.amazon.com/ATE-TYPE-Brake...1738467&sr=8-1
What about these… that come with free shipping?
http://www.amazon.com/ATE-706402-Ori...1738602&sr=8-6
http://www.amazon.com/ATE-705802-Ori...738602&sr=8-10
They are all DOT 4, but none of the others say anything about ‘racing’. Am I being to retentive on this? Would any DOT 4 be okay for a year? I already have some Valvoline on hand:
