1990 S4 RHD with headlight level adjustment.

With main lights on the right hand light is constantly moving up & down while the left one stays steady. Happens with light level selector in all positions.

The little motor seems to be hunting for something as it is wirring constantly adjusting the headlight aim. This happens even when no cops are around

I have checked all mounts etc & that the motor is connected securely to the light by the adjustment rod.

Questions:
1 - Does anyone know why the motor would be hunting for an aim?
2 - How do I solve this?
