Default Zimmermann brake rotors

I have 2 Zimmermann cross drill rotors on the shelve. Just want to be sure witch one is the left side rotor

Number on the rotor : 1513 5332 should be the left side (928.351.043.60)

Other rotor number : 1514 15799 right side (928.351.044.60)

Is that right?

Not sure on the part numbers... but visually the vanes should be pointing rearwards when mounted on the vehicle.

Stick a pencil in the vanes at the top of the rotor. The pencil should point to the rear of the car.

928.351.043.60 is Left
928.351.044.60 is Right

The direction of the vanes is most important, in case they are mislabeled. The vanes make the disk work like a centrifugal pump, sucking air through the center hub opening and blowing it out the edges.

Whenever 9th digit in Porsche part number is even number part is meant for right side of car. When same 9th is odd number its meant for left side or same part is used on both sides of car.

Just goes to show what you can learn by reading RL everyday. My car has two right handers on it. The PO had them put on there last year by a local 'Porsche' shop. She paid twice the mark up on them and the new pads.

Next time you are at the dealer (any car) check the front rotors. You may be suprised how many are "backwards" or have the same rotor on both sides (one is correct, other is backwards). Friend of mine found a brand new AMG like this.
