I believe you'll have to remove the supercharger to get it past CA smog, since that's what others who have SC'd their cars have done. I don't think it's very difficult, though.

That is a heck of a sweet ride you have there! Sorry to see it moving, but hope it will move to a good home that will take it out for regular exercise! Wish I had a spare $40k! Hope you get every penny and then some!

I want a convertable as a weekend toy and my daily driver/autoX/track car is now a GTI aquired from my father passing. 07 2.0T, DSG tranny, chipped, exhaust, intake, suspension, Quaife, now at 300+ hp and 320 ft/lbs.... AutoX this Sunday at Marina (Monterey, CA).

James - I said my Ebay reserve was $40k and I'm motivated. I'd consider low 30's. How's that for motivation? Any takers?

I can't imagine that you won't be able to sell that car for low $30'sk! If you don't sell it TODAY for that it is a crime!

Yes Joe a magazine article adds to the provenance and can easily make a big difference BUT it takes TIME the lead is three-four months IF Excellence buys the article. Well worth doing.
