Yeah now I got em: 928 613 219 00 "spring clip". ~50 cents each.

I had the same problem. Bought new ***** to replace the faded ones, but no metal tension clips in the replacements, so the new ***** were very loose on the shaft.

I dug the old ***** outta the trash and pulled the clips out and installed them into the new *****.

Easy.
