I have got to say I am offended by these remarks, as I am a former Police Officer, US Marine, and Loadmaster in the USAF for a combined 18 years (total public service with the possibility of being killed doing these jobs). I did it because I wanted to make a sacrifice for our country as best as I could, and help people. It was my choice and I respect people for making different choices. (Red UFO) Please keep your anti police comments to your self. I am sorry you have had bad experiences. I always tried to be fair and leave people with a good impression, but still do my job.

Now that I have said my piece, I would also like to say this forum is about 928's. If you want to bash people and the choices they make (like cops) please join the " I hate cops" forum.

All professions have bad people in them. I have seen my share of bad LEOs. By no means 9 out of 10, that is a delusional figure.

This sounds like a classic case of sugar-coating a story. Hearing both sides *unfiltered*, is the only way to place judgement.

And yes, of course it could have been a mistake by the DMV, that happens too. But that doesn't make it the officer's fault for doing what the law directed him to do, impound the car.

Bottom line: pay your parking tickets in a timely manner, or risk having your car impounded. That's why this situation happened.

Like I said before, cars get parking tickets, not people.

I was never questioned or arrested , yet the car was taken. Why do you think I've been questioning this incident for 8 months. Again this isn't a story about the negatively of the police. It's a real situation that me and my family are "enjoying" and I say this sarcastically.
I find it funny that people here have trouble believing a "Dirty Cop" exists, some town cops come from the same ****y DNA chain as the people sitting in the back seat of a patrol car. What is nice to see, is all the good men in blue assisting now.

Not since WW2 has any war been worth fighting. Every war after that was to benefit corporations and weapons dealers. I'm quite sick of mercinarys shouting people down who don't embrace military culture. I have plenty of military in my entire family and I don't need a history lesson.
