Question Cam belt tension sensor

Hi all,
I asked this before and thought I got a good answer but now the front of my engine is all back together and I can find nowhere for this sensor to go. There is a hole in the front of the left hand belt cover but it's too small for this thing to fit. I've searched and searched. Can anyone help please - a picture of it fitted would be ideal ?

Linus: I think what Wally is referring to is the center or lower cam cover. It may look like a bolt hole but it is a small socket to receive the plug you have pictured. On the inside of that cover running from that socket should be a wire connecting to the tensioner. On my car, the PO's mechanic from a reputable? shop didn't have the parts to rebuild the tensioner so he CUT the inner wire. How convenient!! This fix for incompetence is often accompanied by an overtightened T-belt. The "belt tension" light is going to come on anyway because the circuit is incomplete, but this gives peace of mind to the owner that his belt is tight. Of course now the cam sprockets are being gently but continuously worn. They cost $91.95 each to replace plus your time and labor. Does anybody have a before and after picture of worn sprockets they can post??
