Default torque specs for oil pump shaft

If I'm reading the WSM correctly it gives specs for the "oil pump bolt" in two stages first 15 then 20 and refers to 'it' as M8 which makes me think they mean the 3 bolts that mount the pump in the block...

If that is correct then what is the torque spec for the nut on the end of the pump shaft? I can't find it anywhere.
On a related note, I used a strap wrench to counter hold the pump sprocket to be able to loosen the shaft nut, I hope that method will work to tighten it.

How about it, anyone have any tips?

Also need the torque specs for the two bolts that hold the 90 degree fitting on the thermostat housing if anyone has that I'd be most appreciative!
Thanks, Craig

yes, those are the torque specs for the 3 bolts.

the main bolt is torqued by how you loosened it, or , i just put a screwdriver through the openings in the pulley and tighten to the spec. I forgot what it is, but its basically just as tight as you can with a 13mm shorty wrench.

the thermostat housing is torqued as most 10mm head bolts are tightened. just snug them up and turn them a bit more. those generally strip out pretty easy if you go too tight.

I've looked for that as well and haven't found it either, so I have that indicated with a ?? in my supplemental timing belt guide. The nut is an M10. The WSM standard torque for an M10 nut or bolt is 30 ft-lbs. Since the pump gear is keyed, the torque is mostly to keep the nut from coming off. I'd use 30 ft-lb and be happy. Since you were able to remove it counter-holding with a strap, that sounds about right.

I think its in the little white book. im almost positive that is like bill said, about 30ft-lbs , same as other random M10 bolts/nuts
