Lime Rock park had a very nice food concessions place. Liked their Lime Rock Burger.
Probably some of the better track food around. Not saying much but I enjoyed their curly fries. Hmmmm.
Pricey tho, of course.

Schedule:

Not a real lot, but this will be my first time on them. LRP has a fast average speed, but really is a handling track. The highly modified 944T (Roy Chow) who is running in GT2 now runs a lap in 55 seconds!!!

Thanks for the schedule. A buddy, my son and I will be in attendance. We should be arriving around Noon or just after.

Good Luck John!
I know you're ready to get back out on the track again! And definitely don't have anything break, on your car or you! You way over paid those dues last year my friend!

John had some oil smoke issues - or so I'm told. Black flags involved. I'm sure he'll update us once he's caught up.

I just saw some of the results. :58.8 best time ! pretty good!
what happened ? looked like a DNF in the race.
There was a guy named Wal Jarvas in your race, was that the mini porscheGT1 made from a 914 chassis? that name sounds like someone that ran with me a while ago. I think he was :57s but he was DQ'ed in the race. i wonder what happened to him?

What a perfect day to race. Slight Breeze, about 70 Degrees and sunny all day. We were there in time to watch the afternoon races after qualification. It's an adrenaline rush to see the P-Cars blasting around the track, especially if you're down in the pit area watching them through the S-Curves.
John's shark sounds like an absolute monster both on the track and in the pits. The exhaust note stands out amongst all the 911's and 944's. After the first race I stopped by to talk to John and he was hunting down the source of some smoke coming from the engine bay. Not sure what the outcome was but he did race in the enduro for a bit before the issue came back. I will leave it at that since he appeared somewhat frustrated.
I'll post a few pictures tonight
