Here's a blast from the past - the Devek White Car at 175mph. This was shot in about 2000 so the video quality is poor, but the audio comes through pretty good. Crank it UP!

I like the idea of this thread. Seems like 8 years ago people were having trouble uploading the audio/video. Now that its easy to do on our phones, hopefully more people will contribute!

Hi Nate, I'm hoping to get some updated examples of exhaust notes... especially from guys with x pipes, aftermarket mufflers, headers, etc....
I would love to have a "sound library" of what different options actually sound like...

Jim the car sounds great! Is that the Devek/Ott exhaust combo I see in your sig line? And, is it a single or dual setup?

My exhaust has changed quite a bit since I started this thread a while back. I am now running a single 3" exhaust merged with a Magnaflow Y-pipe after factory cats. No signs of power gain or loss, but it sure as hell sounds good to me. It's also easier to add ATF fluid on the passenger side now. I don't even have to jack the car up and worry about getting my face branded by a hot, oversized intermediate muffler.
