Default My new Craigslist find in Nashville!

Spent Sunday waxing and cleaning the interior...still have the motor compartment to clean. Will take pics of it probable next week. Will do timing belt, water pump just to be safe before a lot of driving. PPI by Wickey in Nashville revealed needed oil pan seal, front wheel bearing need adjusting. Rear driver side CV boot is ripped but not making noise yet. Inside rear quarter panel leather is in BAD condition due to sun damage. It appears to be the only real negative inside except for a broken T handle. Everything works except cig lighter...heck even the cruise brought me home with the sunroof open. OD is in German KM but translates to 121000 miles. I think the CarFax used KM reading as miles...thus the mileage difference. Speedo is MPH but computer readout is German.
Thanks to those that encouraged me to move on it fast.

Nice looking car. Mine needed nearly the same things when I got it.

I have a spare stock T-handle if you need it. No charge, just cover shipping cost with USPS from Lillington NC 27546 to your place. It will get you by until you decide to upgrade to a Momo or 928 MS shifter.

Default Congrats

Hi Dean,

Great looking car. I'm glad you were able to meet up with Wicky for the PPI. Your car looks like my twin. But I didn't think they offered Granite Green in '89, so yours must be a slight variant grey metallic. In any case, yours is a strikingly beautiful find.

I hope you enjoy many happy years of ownership.

Regards,

- rick

Dean-

If you "double click" on the lower left stalk, it should switch back to miles. Nice find.
