Slight stalling on left hander
I had my EuroS at Lime Rock Park last month. I experenced a slight fuel starvation problem on the left hander when the tank was at 1/3 full. The car would "shut down for about 1 second and then catch. Problem went away as long as I kept the tank above 1/2.
No problems with the right handers (the rest of LRP) or driving the car straight even with the gas down to a 1/4 tank.
I'm going to dive into the tank and look at the pickup this weekend, but just checking if anyone else had been there.

John, yes I've been there. On my 82 5 speed. I did pull the tank out (cleaning) and replace the filter, pump, and screen. I did notice that the tank is very efficient. There is a cup area in the bottom to help with the low fuel situation. I don't think that cornering would provide low fuel to the engine. When you go to pull the sending unit out of the tank you will understand why I think this. Disconnect the battery and pull up the rear mat and unscrew the plastic housing that holds it in. There are some other things that also have to be done. Disconnect the return fuel line and unplug the wires that are on the top of the sending unit. The sending unit is long and fits all the way down into the cup that I mentioned. Look in there for any problems or just to look. <img src="graemlins/a_smil17.gif" border="0" alt="[blabla]" />

I was at atrack event with a EuroS track car owner recently. Someone else that was riding in the car with him for a session told me that he had been watching an air/fuel ratio gauge mounted in the car, and it seemed like the car would run leaner when in a left turn. It would have been nice to have had a fuel pressure gauge in there that could be seen while driving.
