Post Lense Covers, again.

Guys, I realise there are quite a few of you following the project and waiting on me to finalize the whole thing. I've answered all the emails I got, but I have had problems with my server so if I missed you I'm sorry.

Here's how things are standing right now. We've made new molds and sorted out the final finishing and polishing, so the lenses now fit better and look better.

Fitting is still a little complicated though. It takes between one and two hours to fit a set of front and rears, using little perspex mounting blocks that you attach to the car with double-sided tape and then you attach each lense cover to the blocks with velcro. The feedback I got from people who installed the covers using the mounting blocks are two-fold. Some say it's no problem, others say it's a little difficult if you're not technically inclined. That prompted us to re-design our fitting method but I'm afraid nothing else worked. Believe me when I say we've tried every idea under the sun when it comes to fitting. I'm not gonna bore you with all the details and I assure you nothing works as well the mounting block system, so for now that's the system we'll use. I will have a website up soon with new pics and instructions.

For distribution my plan was to use a major parts vendor in the US who I sent a few sets to (at my expense) as samples during November last year. The guy in charge told me everything looked good and more or less promised me an order after X-mas but nothing materialized. Since the 2nd week of Jan I sent him about six emails and got no reply, so I decided to supply direct.

I've setup a Paypal account in the meantime and for shipping I intend using the worldwide express parcel service thru the Post Office. So yes, I can take orders now. Prices are $65.00 front set and $75.00 rear set and includes shipping to anywhere in the States. Lead times are 1 week for manufacturing and 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.

Thanx to all of you for your patience. Please email me at amazingglaze@xsinet.co.za if you need more specific details.

Thank you.

JP, you can do a bank transfer straight into my bank over the internet. I'm told it takes +- 5 working days. Also, I don't want to take any money upfront. Should you place an order I will only bill you when your order is ready to be shipped. At that time I'll give you a tracking number so you'll be able to keep tabs on the shipping.

Shipping to the middle east is a bit more expensive than to the US, so add about $8.00 to the above prices.

I have long since forgotten, do they come in different shades? Such as just clear ones?
