I'm glad to answer your question.
Scott Adams is one of the best thinkers of our age.
He's the creator of the Dilbert comic strip and author of the amazing mind-and-soul-bending book which I highly recommend to you, Charley, "God's Debris".
Here's his blog, which is usually just fun nonsense but every now and then really hits a nerve:

My noob question:
What does "Enzo" mean?

Erkka, I've taken a look at the "Diaphragm Diagram" that you posted, and although my question may not have been that stupid, based on what I can glean from the cutaway, I'm no rocket scientist.
I can see that there's a diaphragm in play there, and I'm assuming that the presence of the words words 'diaphragm' & 'pressure switch' - and the lack of the words 'rolling' & 'radius' answer my question. Also, if number of wheel revolutions was the method of measurement vs. internal pressure, I guess the sensors wouldn't need to protrude inside the wheel.
Stupid question #1 answered.
JPTL wrong. I owe John C. a beer.
Hmmmm. I wonder what RDK stands for

OK, Here's one:
Which way is "clockwise" ...as in... "never turn the engine counter clockwise".
So I'm standing in front of the car with my 27mm wrench in hand about to manually rotate the engine and I'm thinking, since most instructions regarding the car call the "left side" the left from the drivers perspective as he is sitting in the drivers seat in a U.S. version car, is "clockwise" determined while facing the engine or clockwise from the drivers perspective?!?

If I install a kick-down bypass on my 87 S4 Auto and leave it on all the time will it:
1. Harm the transmission
2. Allow 1st gear starts from a stop with the trans in "D"

I am always good for a stupid question every now and then. Here's mine: I have a '83 with a cat bypass, but otherwise stock exhaust. Will it be any performance advantage to have a local exhaust shop make a custom exhaust with just a single Borla (or similar) muffler, or will it just be louder? I know the cat was restictive, but I am not sure about the rest.

I have seen some posts recently indicating little to no benefit to the 85-86 manifolds. I didn't read too much detail because I have headers, but it might be worth searching for somebody interested in the upgrade.

I have considered doing the manifold swap or headers before, but wanted to start with the exhaust past the bypass to see the effects (due to labor, and the ease of changing back to stock if desired).
