For a bit of background, I installed an 84 Euro S motor with LH injection, brains, etc. in an 80 US model. All the wiring to join the 80 fuse panel to 84 harness has been figured out with the exception of the tachometer. Motor runs well, all systems are go, now I can't figure out how to get a tach signal to the tach. I understand the 80 wiring diagram, but the 84 Euro S diagram of the instrument cluster isn't very clear (well, to me at least) So my question is: how does the '84 tach receive its signal, and how can I now send this signal to my '80 tach? All help is greatly appreciated.
