Car won't start
I've jumpered the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump works and the fuel rails fill, but the car still won't start. What connection to the throttle body would cause the fuel pump not to run? I don't have an inductive timing light to check for spark. Any other methods?
I've obviously done something/missed something and I don't particularly want to take the intake off before I check the possibilities and know what I'm looking for. I've never been able to hear a clicking sound from my injectors. Under what conditions should the injectors be getting power? Ignition on? Starter running?

At the rear center of the engine, back by the firewall and on top of the bellhousing, there's a sensor. Remove the airbox and look down there between the MAF sensor and firewall and you should see it just behind the plastic wheel that the throttle cable goes around. Check that the plug there is properly connected and that the wiring is in good shape.

The 928 ignition system doubles as a great cardioversion unit! Be cautious about alternative testing proceedures. If you unplug a sparkplug to test, you risk the ignition brain, which I think is an all-in-one unit with the fuel-injection brian in that MY. If you don't fry the ignition you might light up your self...... go get a cheap inductive timing light. Test the coil wires first, then go to individual plug wires to confirm distributor function.
