Redline water wetter
#3
I called and talked to someone at Redline a while ago about the stuff. They were great, but I ended up not using it. Of what they said:
1. With a 50/50 water/antifreeze mix, don't expect must benefit. The more antifreeze, the less this helps.
2. The product is mainly for racing applications.
Has anyone heard different information on this?

Basically water wetter is a lubricant for using pure water in a racing app. This is good because water transfers and absorbs heat better than most antifreeze so it will let your system run cooler as long as you maintain a good airflow through the radiator. The problem is draining the system can be cumbersome to make sure it doesn't freeze in the winter(major issue here in MN). I would use it in warmer climates as long as you don't sit in traffic too long(water with the wetter, no Ethylene).

Water Wetter is great stuff, only if you use it with pure water. Any anti-freeze renders teh cooling properties uselss. It does help lubricate the pump. Adding it is beneficial either way.
