Post wheel offsets for a 1984

I have the opportunity to purchase some nice Porsche wheels from a 968. The offsets on the fronts are 55 and the rears are 45. Will these fit the 928?

Thanks in advance,

I forgot some important information. The fronts are 16x7 and the rears are 16x8. All tires are 225/50/16.

Cool

I very seriously doubt those wheels will fit within the fender wells. The offset for the OEM flat-dish wheels is about 65mm. Why don't you get an aftermarket set from one of the big three? They sell wheels that they know will fit 928s. YMMV.

Thanks, Ed. I took your advice and know I will get the correct offset.

I ran 16" 968 wheels for 2 years without a problem. They look very nice and fit perfect. I have pictures if you would like them. They are not even close to being out of the fenders in the front and give a much more aggressive look in the rear once you remove the spacers.

Thanks for the info, Kevin. But I already purchased a set of Design 90 wheels that I know will fit my shark.
