Will new coil's make a different's?
The shock coils are 16 years old, and maybe
Im not getting alot of spark.
Any ideas.

While ignition coils can and do go bad, I would suggest carefully checking and cleaning the coil wires first.

Yes. The insulation on the secondary windings is pretty thin, and can puncture thru, shorting part of the turns, which lowers available voltage. Such failures can also be temperature sensitive.
