928's are amazing cars
#17
I am of the firm believe that the engineers that designed the 928 must have been the sons of the men that designed Panzers because they are tanks!
As much as I hate to admit it my 83' does not get the love it needs, because I am a starving college student. I replaced the alternator, battery, spark plugs, dist. cap, rotor, and off I went. In two years I put about 15,000 miles on the car and even drove it for a few miles when the timing bet slipped a tooth! If that didnt amaze me enough the transmittion continues to slug on after almost a year of hard shifts and sticking in gear. While I feel aweful for driving my 928in this condition, I am completely amazed the car keeps going.
