RRFPR: Initial pressure? Holding pressure?
Stock (except for RMB) 1989 GT. New RRFPR. At what fuel pressure would you recommend I set it at first?
Also, with the new RRFPR the fuel system doesn't hold pressure like I remember the stock system doing (admittedly, a long time ago -- my intake refurb has taken me more than a year). Should it?
Thanks,
Mark.

what type of RRFPR do you have?
I have the adjustable FPR from 928 SP on the car and set it to the instructed pressure..........IMO I should have listend to the solid advice I got and spent the money on other items...........no diff over stock but I'm tuning SOMP

I assume you mean adjustable fpr. Without boost, an rrfpr is pointless. Holding pressure is more a function of the check valve than the fpr.
Stock is 55psi without vacuums reference and 46-48psi with vacuum reference (idle). IIRC, DR sets the fpr on his SC kits at 48psi at idle.

This doesn't apply to always open-loop cars like 84-86 Euro/ROW.

Yes AFPR. I don't remember where I ordered it, but it was put together by Kirban Performance Products. The brochure recommends 4-6psi over stock. Start at 60 w/o vacuum?
