Backup light-show
Apparently I am the unwitting producer of a pretty wild light-show, to those following my 928. I think it is only happening when I am manually shifting the auto-tranny. Can anyone tell me where the "reverse-light switch" is located?

Left side of the gearboz where the cable from the shift lever connects. Mine has a multiwire cable plugged in.

Brian,
Sounds as if you have a bad switch. You can turn off the lights by pulling the fuse. I wouldn't recommend just pulling the connectors as they are just two loose wires in a boots and can make contact, turning on the lights. BTDT. When replacing your switch don't lose the positioning rod/pin that may or may not come out with the switch. The new switch won't have one.
