Thumbs up

Hey Shawn !

I think your shifter and boot makes the dash look much more modern, so now the stering wheel HAS to go PRONTO

Can I ask where you got it ?

... and then the $2 digital clock - can't believe Porsche put this thing into their flagship product. I've never seen a cheaper looking clock in my life !

Looks great!
BTW I have an 84 auto previously owned by a Shawn Smith. It was very well cared for. If it was yours, THANKS.

The shifter and boot are from 928motorsports.com

I have this wheel inbound from 928gt.com (which amusingly happens to show a nicer looking clock in the background):

PS the original steering wheel with the intact stitching will become an excess-parts item shortly if anyone was desperate for one...

Yup this is the hot combo for automatics!! I have the same setup....but the dark blue steering wheel would look sweet in your 928's colors!!

It is super easy......a 15 minute job tops......the hardest part is putting the 35ftlbs (or close to it) on the 27mm nut that holds it on.....it might be kinda difficult getting the center section off the old wheel...but just pull from the sides it will come off

Well, it could look like this - see the pic, or a rectangular, authentic Porsche analog clock fits right in and looks thousand times better than the "el cheapo digital" - but that's just my opinion ;-)
