Default Looking for a 87+ 928S4 5 speed

With some reservation I want to post that I am currently looking for a 928S4 5 speed for a project I can't seem to shake from my mind and which flies against any common sense.

Would like it to be a 87+, 5 speed, which is mechanically sound. Interior and body cosmetics do not have to be perfect.

I have been looking for awhile and thought to post here just in case. I have found a few but would rather deal with a Rennlister if possible. I've had it with dealers and dreamers. Fair price given for the 928 in question.

Thank you,
Constantine

So what's your budget? Not that I'm looking to sell, just wanted to know in case I come accross something.

Well, since the car will go through a total restoration/transformation, as fair as possible for the given 928 and it's condition. Less then 20K.

There was an '88 with 40k on Ebay that ended yesterday. Last I saw, the reserve had not yet been met @14100.00. Perhaps it didn't sell. G

I'll keep my eyes open Constantine. Would you be willing to go through the 5 speed conversion again if the price was right? Say less than 9K and in FL?

Is this the project we spoke about at Rennsport Reunion?

No to the 5 speed conversion, BTDT. But thank you for thinking of me.

As far as the project discussed at RRIII, could be... But with a few twists. Anyone with a sporting bent should like the finished project.

Happy Holidays,
Constantine

Holy crap! Where is this car located? Very rare for a US S-4.

Joseph may be selling his supercharged 91 GT blk/blk and he just put new 19" 997 wheels and tires on it.

Guessing that the 2/6 rod bearing siezed. Rest of the car is fine, new clutch too. Just fixed several nagging issues, but it won't roll without some crank work

Where are you located? I'm not actively lookin to sell- but it's crossed my mind. I've gotten many compliments on my car- it won a VA PCA concours last Summer- up to date maint. & many new parts 89k mi.- I'd probably like to get around $ 20 K for it.
