I need this. I have a car in need of state salvage inspection and I had bought parts of the net with no vins. Bad deal they want to see vins for parts. PM sent.

It's only appropriate that iccy would find ics.

Sterling, is this directed towards me? I assure you... I own this car. I don't know what to do with the VIN and title and I'm conflicted about just throwing it in the trash.

It's illegal to do either unless I'm mistaken.

Well then... nevermind. Not looking to commit a crime, just didn't want to waste it. $75 is a small benifit for something that's illegal. The title and VIN are no longer for sale. No reason to remove the post, let it act as warning to others as uninformed as myself. Thanks for the heads up people.

I am not directing anything to you, but if I wanted to steal a 928, and with what you are willing to sell me I could run it through a title mill and have a clean "stolen"car.

IMHO there is no reason for you to do this.

Just being overly zealous to recoup the maximum about from the parts I'm not using from this 928... I'll hang the title on my wall as a reminder of my almost crime.

You'd be way ahead to also close this thread.

OMG the cops are here...sheesh. Its a ****in old car not a new Benz. I am very ****in serious and I think he is too. Have any of you EVER built anything? like a custom rod or bike? Things liike these is what friends are for not slime bag criminals. Im so sure Im gonna steal a car after making a nice Internet paper trail on the forum I PAID TO JOIN WITH MY CREDENTIALS!!! I admit online is not the smartest but who gives a ****? I mean its not stolen Im not stealing Im just buying a parts car that is really parted out. And btw Charley what do you mean by that?

funny, i had a hard time throwing the 84 vin out. But it was the right thing to do. do you know how much trouble you can get in for this kind of transfer? I think it ranks right up there with grand theft, or something close

That is if your using it to mask another car maybe? I think it would be fine to use as a "used scrap parted out car" It just shoed up in a box. I really dont care about all that ****. Like I said whos gonna care? whos gonna try to steal a car? not me! I just want to keep more sharks on the road. I just ned some vin nimbers to show wher I bought some fenders and a hood.
