I have a set of the 993 wheels as well. Waiting to go on my S4. They are a classic look in a 928.

Right now I have 18"MM Turbo Twist on it. They're a bit beat up and will be my track day tires - once I get the S4 caught up on maintenance.

I say, buy the wheels. It will make a night and day difference with the car, and it will psyche you up to do repairs on it.
