Default Will Boxter brakes work on 928?

Let me preface this by saying that I have never really paid attention to the brakes on a boxter. I have the opportunity to buy some boxter brake rotors and calipers very cheaply. I would imagine that they are an improvement from the S brakes. Are the boxter brakes a feasable retrofit or is there a mechanical reason why they wont work? Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

Unless you're tracking the car, I doubt you'll notice any difference whether they're better or not. I doubt they're cheap enough to make adapting them worth it anyway.

If you already have a set of early spindles it might be worth looking into. If not, I still don't think it would be worth it. The ears for caliper mounting on S-spindles are positioned poorly for radially mounted calipers.

I too wondered whether this would be a feasible option as it seems that Boxster brakes are a dime a dozen and unless your lucky (like me) S4/GT/GTS brakes skyrocket on the auction block. I think the only way to answer this question is to buy at least one front caliper and try it.
