Default brand new block/pistons on ebay

There is no mentioning if it comes with crankshaft and rods.

It does not come with crank or rods. He is a local customer who offered it to me last week but I passed on it. It will be interesting to see what it brings.

Block is several year younger than '79 MY. Notice how it has places in casting for starter mounting bracket. That was introduced in '83 MY and its very unlikely they were in block casting several years before. Since all blocks were using 97mm bore in '83-84 MY it would be interesting to know what size cylinders this one has. Based on part number inside top V its early 4.5L though and should be 95mm. But most likely it was done years later to S block casting.

Those are not U.S. 4.5l pistons. No concave on the top.
