The strangest thing on mine was one of my window switches was rubbing something on the bottom and shorting whenever I would raise or lower the window. When it would short the engine and everything would shut off. . .even while driving down the road. That and my rear hatch pull-down has a mind of its own. My door chime only works sometimes and the button on the dash for the locks never works. There's a short in the wiring around the door chime relay but I'm not pressed. As for the door locks, I've got 3 of those central indicator panels and none of them seem to make the locks work. That's no big deal since the locks work otherwise. There's a short in the combination switch for the wipers, cruise, etc. Perhaps that's why my headlight washer motor won't work. There's a few other odd things, but overall the car is very reliable, and I seem to have eliminated all of the "no-start" gremlins.

I have static on my radio/cassette that diminishes when I turn on the fog lights and cease entirely with the headlights on. Do headlights seem to be a common to many of the problems cited in this thread?
