I'm thankful for all the friends I met through the 928 community on rennlist, everybody who voted me into the Board of the 928 OC, my customers, and whoever else knows and still likes me.

Beyond that, I owe a very special "Thanks" to Bill Ball, who not only taught me so much about the 928 but also has been instrumental in keeping it running well and performing safely.

Louie Ott, one of the smartest, nicest, honest, humble guys I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Jim Bailey, his knowledge is second to none and his patience when I am ordering are incredible.

Jim

Seriously everyone willing to share their experience makes ownership easier and worthwhile. I would have never bought the 928 if I knew support didn't exist.

A few people that have helped me along the way...

Iceman for the initial inspection before I bought the car and some initial vacuum diagnosis

and a couple of the NE guys with a ton of experience and willingness to share their time
Dave C....with recent R&R of nearly everything wrong has helped get the car running great
Carl L. who has changed everything on his 928 (read mechanically ****) sharing his experience and before/after results.

The Big 2 and Roger for making parts readily available at a reasonable price.

Oh and I almost forgot, a good bottle of Scotch to help dull the pain when something goes wrong.

boy I dunno, so many in the running. i have put my phone number on the list asking for a call while i was in the garage and the phone rings, answers on the issues in min... the list as a whole is simply fantastic and it takes every one to make it what it is. A lot of times everyone has played off and complimented another. If your are a noobe with the question or the guy with the answer. We are just a **** load of guys with a common love for this car.

Wally P has done about as much (or more) for 928 technical knowledge as anyone. There are others that have been mentioned (and many who have not) but Wally is at the top of my list although he's not quite as active as he used to be. He could have written an outstanding book on 928 maintenance but there probably aren't enough buyers to warrant such an effort. Nichols has gathered together a lot of Wally's info, as have others. Wally has to have the factory repair manuals imbedded in his brain along with much hands-on experience.

Rennlisters in general has made my life much richer on experience and fun than any other group of people!

I would not like to put a list together, we are all family to me.

Thumbs up 928 Rennlisters you're thankful for...

Thanks to Chuck Z., a tremendous 928 informational resource and true keeper of the marque by virtue of his Registry and meticulous restorations.
I know as I am the proud owner of his red 93 GTS.
