Phase 1 complete!
All the paperwork is done and transportation is arranged. It looks like the trucking company will pick my car up in SoCal on Wednesday (and the driver gets to be home in AZ for Thanksgiving), and then it will be working its way east!
This wait is killing me!

Thanks guys. I can't wait. Guys I work with can't believe how patient I've been, but I wanted to be sure I found the right car and take my time making it happen. If it gets here next week, that will be around 3 months since I first spoke with the seller. Is that a record?
And I'm definitely up for an Atlanta get together, would love to. I'm in East Cobb and I know there are a few others in the area. Let's find a place!

LOL. Sounds like you got the fever.
Let's see, SoCal to Atlanta. Looks like an I-40 route, bringing it within 45 miles of me in the next few days. Wish I could sneak a peek, as she's a beauty.
Hope all goes well and you're enjoying your new ride early next week!

Aren't the roads covered in snow and really slippery about now....? Just joking, keep that thing inside when its cold and rainy. Those cali cars aren't used to the weather you guys get back there. :-)

Snow? What's that? This is Hotlanta, temp has been in the 70's for the last week, finally cooled into the 60's yesterday. Low humidity, gorgeous fall weather! I'll be driving year-round and yes it will be a near-daily driver. That's why I bought it. My old 928, as ugly as it was, was my daily driver and an awesome car. I can't wait to be back in one that my wife isn't ashamed to be seen in.

Hey! Easy there. Not sure if he'll do I-40 or I-20, but it's a hard-sided fully enclosed 85-footer so it might be hard to see. But I'll post plenty of pics.

Congrats Mark. That really is a beautiful color. If I can get my ignition coil wiring problem fixed, I'd like to make a gathering some time soon. Macon isn't too bad of a ride up to where the rest of you are. I'm not sure if there are any other shark owners here in my area or not. Either way, drop me a PM if you happen to plan anything.

Simply a beautiful car. It may be redundant but I too love the colour...Not to mention, what better birthday present could a guy ask for! Happy Birthday by the way.
