Time to vote for your favorite 928 watch dial
#6
Looks like something captured from an alien craft- give me a headache looking @ it. I like the 9-2-8 placementand the second sweep dial- but too busy overall- and lose the Landshark- that name sounds pretentious and stupid. Keep it clean, cool, and SIMPLE- you're trying to fit 10 pounds of **** in a 5 lb. box.I like the concept, and could be a future customer.

Are you serious??? People actually want these? No offense to you or your design, but a 928 watch?
I never looked at the other thread cause I thought it was some Ebay joke like the wooden clocks.
I am really blown away with this....wow.

Hey Keith,
Some of us kinda' like the idea. I have collected antique pocket watches and clocks for decades and to have one commerate the 928 would be something special. It may not become a collectable but that doesn't really matter to me. I gave up a 6 digit consulting career to work on these damn toys, purely out of passion, not for financial gain. I have never worked harder for less money. There is nothing logical about 928's, it is truely a passion. These watches may not mean anything to "outsiders" but then again neither does a 928.
I would wear it with a quiet smile and so would my sons when I leave it to them. It's not the fiscal value, it's the meaning behind it. Maybe it's just the watch thing you don't get, I'd think you would understand...
I think lose the Kranium and the landshark, stick with the 928 and the quasi-crest. Quiet, polite and meaningful.

Nasty!? Sorry, we are not talking about your taste in wheels...42 posts in 5+ year, now would have been a good time to restrain yourself from posting and keep your count low.
To the others, thank you for participating.
I will not be going ahead with it as I don't feel the love.
